We were very lucky to have a guest presenter from Pelican Point Power Station’s ‘Mobile Science’ education programme, come to our class as part of our Inquiry into how energy works and it’s many sustainable forms.
As you will see from the photos, the children had a rare opportunity to investigate different sources of energy using some excellent resources.

We’ve had a very hands on term, starting with our ‘Theme Park Maths’. The children had to design their dream theme park and then build a model showing length, area, volume, perimeter, capacity, mass, temperature and also provide a timetable. This was a very big ask and the children really rose to the challenge!
