Book Week 2019

YEAH! IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN – BOOK WEEK This year’s theme is ‘Reading is my Secret Power.’ Each year across Australia, The CBCA(Children’s Book Council of Australia) brings children and books together celebrating CBCA Children’s Book Week. During this time schools, libraries, booksellers, authors, illustrators and children celebrate Australian children’s literature.

Notification Of Influenza A

We have been informed that one of our students in Year 1 has a confirmed case of Influenza A.  Attached is a fact sheet from SA Health providing details including symptoms, infectious period, treatment and prevention. Please note the Infectious period (time during which an infected person can infect others)

The Weekly Wrap

To Note Many thanks to the parent helpers on School Photos Day last Tuesday, the day ran smoothly.  Reminder, Photo Make Up Day is scheduled for Thursday 15th August for those students who were absent from school last week. A whole school photo will also be taken in the morning.

Sapsasa Knockout Boys Netball

Well done to the Year 7 boys Sapsasa Knockout netball team who won their fourth game against All Saints Catholic School today, 35-10. The team now advances to the semi final against St Mary’s Memorial School. The boys have been training with Mrs Pettman and by themselves with their commitment

Primary Schools Golf

Well done to Harry P, Harry R and Aidan L who competed in the Golf  SA – Primary Schools Golf Qualifying Event today at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club. Harry P finished in first position with 35 off a modified 9 hole course. Harry is now through to the state finals at
