We warmly invite you to our Acquaintance Evening on Tuesday 11th February, from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
At Craigburn, we value the strong sense of community and the important connections between home and school. This special evening is an opportunity for students, teachers, and families to strengthen these relationships at the start of the school year.
We encourage every student to take an active role in the evening by sharing their unique ‘learning voice.’ Students will guide you through their learning spaces and introduce you to their teachers, offering a meaningful glimpse into their learning environment for 2025.
In preparation for the evening, our teachers are supporting students in developing key skills such as communication, organisation, problem-solving and self-confidence.
You’ll also have the chance to meet our specialist teachers from Physical Education, Performing Arts, German, STEM, Library and the school garden. These programs enrich our students’ learning experiences, and we encourage you to connect with our educators to learn more about their initiatives.
Beyond the classrooms, Acquaintance Evening provides an opportunity to connect with other families and strengthen our school community. You are welcome to join us anytime from 5:00pm onwards for a sausage sizzle (gluten-free and vegetarian options available) and refreshing drinks – at nominal prices.
Classrooms will be open for visits between 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm.
This evening reflects our commitment to building strong partnerships with our families, and we sincerely hope you can join us.
Warm regards,
Paul
