“Red Dirt Diary” is a funny and unusual book written by Katrina Nannestad and published by Harper Collins Publishers Australia.
The owner of this diary is Trudy Alice Weston but everyone calls her Blue. She is 11 years old and this is all about her life. Blue has two brothers, Wez andFez, and her best friend is Mat. Blue’s friend Mat writes a letter to her and says how she “kissed” a boy on the jetty. Blue says she has changed. When they come back to school Blue is really upset because Sophie, her sister and her brother have gone to boarding school.
I think “Red Dirt Diary” is a girl’s book for readers in years 3-5. It’s funny, girly and maybe a bit gross. If you want to find out what happens to Matilda Jane the Mature, well then you have to read it!!!
