Just a quick reminder that entries for the NSW ICAS Competitions for 2017 are due back by Thursday the 30th March.

The Competitions on offer are:

Digital Technologies (formerly Computer Skills), Science, Spelling, Writing, English and Mathematics.

Just a quick reminder that student led- 3 way conferences are next week. To book a time with me you will need to refer to the information that was given out last week. The booking process is now done online via a website called www.schoolinterviews.com.au.

Thank you to the families who have already booked a time with me.

Bookings must be finalised before Friday 31st of March at 4pm, when bookings for this event will close.

Hello Families,

Just a quick reminder that swimming week starts tomorrow. Please ensure that your children come to school with the following:

Bathers
Towel
Goggles
Underwear (if children come to school in bathers)
Plastic bag for wet towel and bathers
Extra snack for after swimming
Separate bag to take to swimming centre

**Any medication that the children need will be taken to the swimming centre.

Please note that we will eat fruit and recess before departing school tomorrow morning. We will eat lunch when we return back to school tomorrow afternoon.

Thank you to the parents that have offered to help during swimming week (next week). We now have a parent helper for each day next week. I appreciate the time that is given up by parents to help us enjoy extra curricular activities.

If you would like to watch your child at their swimming lessons next week please feel free to drop in. We will arrive at Marion Swimming Centre at approx. 10:50am and our lessons each day are from 11:00am-12:30pm. We will then leave the centre on the bus at 1:00pm. This is a fairly big change from last year where the children had 45 minute lessons.

We are all looking forward to it!

Hello Families,

Next week is swimming week and we are all getting very excited about going.

I am in need of an extra helper to come with us on the bus, help at the swimming centre and then come back on the bus with us to school. The days that I require a helper are Monday 27th March and Thursday 30th March. You do not need a police check to help out.

We will leave school in the morning at 10:30am and then leave Marion Swimming Centre at 1:00pm to be back at school by approx. 1:20pm (lunch time).

Any help is much appreciated.

Hello Families,

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is Harmony Day. The children are allowed to come to school dressed in orange. They do not need to bring a gold coin donation to dress up.

An assembly is going to be held at 10:15am in the hall. We will be sharing something we have been working on in class.

If you ordered a donut for your child these will be delivered to them at recess in the classroom.

for RECESS ONLY

Please have your donut orders in by Friday 17th March. Pay through the QKr app or by cash in an envelope labelled with your child’s name and room number. **No late orders can be accepted.
