Music is Fun 2017

Hello Families,

Today we are all slowly recovering and reflecting on our wonderful experiences at the Mylor camp.

Tomorrow we have the Music is Fun band visiting us at Craigburn. Our session is at 9:20am and we need to be seated in the hall at 9:10am. It will be finished by recess time. Please ensure your child arrives at school on time so they don’t miss out on any of the show.

I have also scheduled in a library borrowing session for tomorrow at 12:30pm due to us missing out on our usual Tuesday session. Please send in any library books that need to be returned. Thank you.

Regards

Kristen

P.S.

I forgot to add that there has been a change of date for the final school disco for 2017. It will now be held on Friday 10th November in week 4 (the end of camp week!).

Updates

Hello Families,

I cannot believe that we are in week three already!

Camp is quickly approaching and this time next week we will be settling in at Mylor. Many children have asked about wearing casual on Monday. Please note that the children can wear casual clothes (sun safe) for all three days.

Sun safe hats (legionnaire/broad brimmed) must be worn at all outdoor activities whilst we are on camp. Children will also be regularly reminded to apply their own sunscreen for the activities that are held outside. Please note that sunscreen will not be provided by the school and will need to be supplied from home (due to allergies).

I am very happy to answer any questions/queries that you may have about next week. I am contactable via a diary note or email at: kristen.bowden49@schools.sa.edu.au

A final camp reminder note will come home with the children tomorrow.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

Kind regards

Kristen

As usual when we get back to school we have hit the ground running! There are a few tired faces amongst our class due to the sudden outburst of hot weather. Fathers Day Stall and Book Fair

Hello Families,

Don’t forget the Fathers Day Stall is on tomorrow. The children can bring a maximum of $10 along (each) to buy something special. Please send along a bag so the gifts can be brought back home safely at the end of the day. Thank you.

The yearly Book Fair also starts tomorrow night after school at 3:30pm in the school library and is running until next Wednesday 6th September. This is an exciting event for all children to enjoy the opportunity to browse through various genres of books. As an adult I also enjoy doing this; it brings back the excitement of when my primary school held their yearly book fair.

Kind regards
