I took this photo on my way home from work the other day. What do you think Room 13, does it show what we learnt in our Art lesson last week? If so, can you describe how? Do you have any examples with photographs that you have taken?

I think that the photo is a great example of what we are doing for art. I have a photo of a flower using the rule of thirds.
I liked it how you put the big lighthouse or what ever it was on the side not smack bang in the middle. I also like the colours that blend in behind the picture so that’s making it look more effective. It’s a very good picture because the angle of the picture kind of tells a story with all of the different things throughout the photo. Great artistic skills Miss Hollitt!!!
That is a great photo and it does show what we learnt in class last week because the jetty is on the top 2 intersections.

I can see in this photo you haven’t used the rule of thirds.

Wow! That is a very effective picture. All of the different colours are amazing. It shows the rule of thirds well. I have picture of a bird that is looking into space that I think shows the rule of thirds too.

I love how the sun in the photo is behind the clouds. It makes the whole photo look bright, and it stands out well with the jetty. I think that you are a great photographer.
