Maker Day
Today we discussed the idea of  ‘Maker Day’. A day dedicated to creative and critical thinking. On my recent trip to EduTECHAU in Brisbane, I had the pleasure of listening to Super-Awesome Sylvia, maker extraordinaire and whiz kid. This is one of her episodes where she makes a no heat lava lamp. If you would like to see more of her super-awesome creations click on the link below.

What would you make if you had a day to create?

The Legend of the Anzacs.
Blackwood War Memorial
Many of us attended the Dawn Service at Blackwood on Anzac Day to pay our respects and celebrate the spirit of the Anzacs. This year was a special year as it marked the 100 year anniversary of the landing at Gallipoli and the birth of the Anzac legend. Do you have any relations that fought for Australia in any of the conflicts? If you do, let us know their story by posting a comment.
We look forward to reading about your connections to the Anzacs.
