Today we had a special day to raise money for The Little Heroes Foundation.
We had a Marathon Day by running lots of laps around the school oval. The money we raise will be going toward the purchase of a new MRI machine for the hospital and supporting the children who need to use it. Some of us dressed up as heroes and the photo is below.

Hi Superheroes of Room 4 – what a great job you all did today with your class marathon. We were there to watch you all run so many laps around the oval and court, we got puffed out just watching you! We were so proud of you all, and as usual I had to wear my sunglasses because I was crying tears of pride (sorry to embarrass you Sienna!). Luv Sonja xx
What a great cause to raise money for. It looks like you all had so much fun, and those sausages look yummo. I was told they were the best sausages ever. Does everyone have sore legs today? I know Aiden said his were sore. Mine get sore after one lap of the oval… ouch.
What a great thing to do to assist children who need extra help to be healthy. The photos and video showed everyone having lots of fun as well. The dress ups looked excellent with lots of interesting heroes. Well done Room 4!
Marathon Day was really fun! I dressed up as a fireman – I think fireman are everyday heros!
My friend Matt’s dad is a fireman! He works in the city.
