This week in the blogging challenge we are looking at the widgets we have on our blog. A widget is an application that can be embedded into a site such as a blog or a web page. There are many types of widgets and we have a number on our blog. They can be calendars, weather maps, countdown timers or even pets and other fun activities. They are another way to involve the visitor in discovering new and exciting parts of a blog.
