Today was a very special day. It is the beginning of many exciting things planned for Craigburn Primary as we celebrate it’s 30th birthday. We had an assembly for the whole school and many people attended. It’s hard to believe that the school has been here that long. There have been many wonderful additions along the way to make Craigburn an exctiting and inviting place to be.
We had Parents and Grandparents in the audience as well as past members of Governing Council. Ian Evans our local Member of Parliament also attended.
It was particularly exciting for one of the the students in our class, because his Mum has had a connection to Craigburn since it began. She was very proud to cut the birthday cake.
Mrs. Rayner helped us sing a great song to celebrate Craigburn’s birthday and you can see most of the song here.
Please watch PhotoPeach for all the fun things that happened! We loved the cup cakes that every student got at Recess time! They were delicious!

What a fantastic assembly! It is wonderful to hear all the positive comments about Craigburn – we certainly do have a WONDERFUL school! We should all be very proud!
Happy birthday to everyone at Craigsburn – looks like you all had a great celebration. We have enjoyed looking at your blog and finding out what you have all been up to! We have a big celebration coming up in june in the UK for the Queens Diamond Jubilee.
