New Quadblogging Buddies

We have new buddies to share our learning with! We are very excited to know that we will be looking at other blogs, even though we loved our previous quadblogging buddies.

Two of our buddies are classes in the the United Kingdom and one is in New Zealand.

We look forward to learning about what school is like for the children and telling them all about Craigburn Primary School.

Rugby Clinic

We had Nat and George talk to us about Rugby. In Rugby you are allowed to tackle but we tagged. We had to tag people around the waist.

We played some fun games. They were: Rugby octopus, Rugby disco, toilet tag and  turtle tag. It was very important that we warmed up before we did any games. The Rugby ball is shaped like a football. The male Rugby team are called the Wallabies and the female team are called the Wallaroos.

We had fun with Nat and George.

Sports Day

Today was Sports Day at Craigburn Primary School. The four house teams of Riley (after Samantha Riley the swimmer), Bradman (after Sir Donald Bradman the cricketer), Woodforde (after Mark Woodforde the tennis player), and Fraser (after Dawn Fraser the swimmer), were all very excited and keen to do their very best.

We used the NED philosophy all day as we moved to each event.

Mr. Wait talked to us about having fun and good sportsmanship. We had a special guest open the Sports Day.His name is Paul Mildren. He played baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates and The Adelaide Bite.

It was a wonderful day and everyone had a fun time. I was so pleased to see everyone playing by the rules and encouraging their team mates. Congratulations to everyone! Please visit our TUMBLR site to see us doing our Dance session.
