Today was Sports Day at Craigburn Primary School. The four house teams of Riley (after Samantha Riley the swimmer), Bradman (after Sir Donald Bradman the cricketer), Woodforde (after Mark Woodforde the tennis player), and Fraser (after Dawn Fraser the swimmer), were all very excited and keen to do their very best.
We used the NED philosophy all day as we moved to each event.
Mr. Wait talked to us about having fun and good sportsmanship. We had a special guest open the Sports Day.His name is Paul Mildren. He played baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates and The Adelaide Bite.
It was a wonderful day and everyone had a fun time. I was so pleased to see everyone playing by the rules and encouraging their team mates. Congratulations to everyone! Please visit our TUMBLR site to see us doing our Dance session.
Watch the Slideshow to see all the fun things we did.
