To all our fathers, we wish you a lovely day with your family on Sunday.
Room 4 has painted some great portraits of their dads. We hope looking at them brings a smile to your face.

It was fantastic to see so many students, parents and grandparents at Craigburn’s open night. There were wonderful conversations happening when children were sharing their learning. They were so proud to show their families all the fantastic work they have been doing!
Here are some of the lovely comments we received on our Padlet (wall wisher) describing the thoughts of the some of the families and friends who visited our classroom.
Have a look at this Picture Trail to see how enthusiastic everyone was to share in their learning.

This year the theme of Book Week was “Read Across The Universe”. We spent some time learning about the Solar System and looking at the planets.
Here is a fantastic clip that taught us about the planets and some interesting facts about them.
Friday was our Book Week dress up day. The theme of Book Week was “Read Across The Universe”, but the children could dress up as any story book character.
Have a look at the great characters that came to school! Many thanks to all the parents who helped their children look fantastic.

Good on you Mrs.K and Mrs.Nelson for dressing up as fabulous astronauts!
This week our Show and Tell topic was to prepare clues about a story book character and have the class guess who we were. We could dress up as that character if we wanted to. It was wonderful to see so many characters and we really enjoyed guessing who they were!
Here is a Smilebox showing our characters and at the end of the presentation you will hear us telling you who we were.

Did you guess who we were?
What is your favourite story?
Maths is such fun when you have friends like Gus the Plus and Linus the Minus to help you. Gus and Linus help us with our addition and subtraction. Many thanks to Frugal in First for creating such fun characters to help us with our learning.
