We had a lovely surprise in our class today. Eliza the lamb came for a visit! Eliza belongs to Alana and her family. They are looking after her because Eliza’s mum died. We watched while Alana fed her from a special bottle and she hungrily gobbled up some special pellets. We got to pat Eliza. She was very soft as she doesn’t have wool but rather fur. Eliza is the kind of sheep the doesn’t need shearing. When it was time for her to go home she happily trotted off on her lead. It was lovely to see her this morning.
