URSTRONG – Friendology Update

We hope that all of you who attended the online URSTRONG parent-child webinar on Wednesday, the 21st, are now feeling like Friendship Coaches, better equipped with strategies and language to reinforce our Friendology curriculum.
We are excited to announce that, due to overwhelming interest and numerous requests, we have scheduled an additional session of our recent URSTRONG parent webinar. Many of you reached out, expressing your regret at missing the previous event due to other commitments, and we want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to be involved.

New Webinar Date:  October 15th, 2024

This session will cover the same valuable content as the previous one, focusing on “The Language of Friendship.” Whether you missed the first session or would like a refresher, we invite you to join us for this informative webinar. We’ve scheduled this webinar to occur after our students have completed the 8 key learning areas.
Stay tuned for registration details!

Reminder: Access to URSTRONG Parent Membership

A reminder that parents have access to a FREE URSTRONG parent membership to explore hundreds of resources – including an 8-session video series. This membership will allow you to learn the same language and strategies being taught in the classroom through the Friendology 101 curriculum. We hope that, as a URSTRONG Family, you will reinforce the important messages of empowerment, self-compassion, and kindness at home.
This week, we encourage all parents to watch the video “Session 3: What’s Normal in a Friendship” available in the parent membership section of the website. After watching, chat with your child about what they learned in Lesson 3.
We look forward to continuing the URSTRONG journey together, supporting our students with their friendship strategies, and fostering a culture of kindness.
