Artist Workshop with Denes Nagy

On Friday 2nd August our lucky Artist Workshop winners were guided by talented artist Denes Nagy to begin their magical artistic creations for our Book Week library display.

We are very grateful to Denes for volunteering his time and expertise to work with our students. Denes shared his own creative process and the magical creatures that inspire him. He prompted students to think of an ‘animal’ and a ‘colour’ to begin their artwork and to consider the animal’s personality and movement in their drawing. Our students excitedly created pink rabbits, red pandas, unicorn dogs & flying giraffe’s amongst many other wonderful ideas.

Denes will run another workshop on Friday 16th August for our competition winners. We are so lucky to have talented members of our Craigburn Community sharing their skills with our students to enrich their learning experiences.

To support Denes, please vote for his entry into the 2025 Premier’s Be Active Challenge Poster competition. Follow this link https://pbac.sa.edu.au/poster-voting/  and vote for this Secondary Poster:
