URSTRONG – FRIENDSHIP FIRE or MEAN ON PURPOSE

FRIENDSHIP FIRE or MEAN ON PURPOSE

Has your child come home upset about a friendship issue at school?

As a URSTRONG Family, we encourage using our friendship language in your home.

Ask your child, “Is this a Friendship Fire or something Mean-on-Purpose?”

Here’s a little explanation!

Help them recognise the type of conflict they are experiencing with their friend and gently coach them through it.

As a URSTRONG school, Craigburn parents have access to FREE URSTRONG resources that explore various friendship concepts.

These tools will help you learn the same language and strategies being taught in the classroom through the Friendology 101 curriculum, empowering you to support your child on their friendship journey.

This week, we encourage all parents to watch the video, ‘Session 5: How to Put Out Friendship Fires,’ available in the parent membership section of the website. After viewing, have a conversation with your child about what they learned in Lesson 5.

We look forward to continuing the URSTRONG journey together, supporting our students in developing friendship strategies and fostering a culture of kindness.
