Harmony Day 2025

Harmony Day is celebrated annually on March 21st, and at Craigburn Primary School, it is a day to embrace and celebrate cultural diversity, inclusivity, and respect for all.

The Harmony Day motto, “Everyone Belongs,” emphasises the importance of fostering a sense of belonging for everyone, regardless of their cultural or ethnic background.

Throughout the week, students will engage in various activities to explore different cultures and ways of life, learning how we can all coexist harmoniously.

Be sure to check out the transformation of the school’s front entrance, which will highlight our commitment to embracing cultural diversity and promoting inclusiveness.

To celebrate our community’s rich cultural diversity, students and staff are invited to wear orange or come dressed in their family’s national attire on Friday, March 21st.

We will also mark the occasion with a whole-school assembly at 2.20PM on the same day, and families are welcome to attend.

Orange donuts can be ordered from the canteen to celebrate the day. Stay tuned for further details.

The Friends of Craigburn are also contributing to the celebrations by organising a Harmony Day Disco that evening.

This event, along with the various activities throughout the week, will help foster a sense of unity and cultural appreciation within our school.
