After our cardboard challenge last week everyone was ready to give Genius hour a go. Some of the class used cardboard again to make some interesting creations. Instead of cooking real cupcakes a group made paper cupcakes for everyone in the class and a student folded enough origami dog faces for everyone in the class too! There were lots of team work again and some students working independently. Some students weren’t successful with their ideas and they used the reflection time to think about what they would do differently next time and what they had learnt from it. Everyone loved sharing their creations and having a go at Tahlia and Ava’s arcade game. Here are some photos of the creations from Week 2:
