This term with our buddies we have been busy designing and creating show rides. To begin with we spent some lessons just planning and designing a show ride. It needed to have at least one movable part. Students thought about a name for their ride and clearly labelled their design with the materials they would be using. Then it was time to start making! Students needed to work cooperatively with their buddy and use materials and tools safely. Once we finished their rides everyone shared them back to the class showing the others the movable part.
