Last week on Tuesday 5th May we had a visit from a police officer. We were lucky to have Jessica J’s mum who has a job as a police officer to come into our school to speak to us about her role in the community. We also got given a special chatterbox to make that helped us think about safe choices to make in the community and what to do if we needed help or saw something that wasn’t safe. Christie also brought her police car and turned on the siren! It was really loud and we needed to put our fingers in our ears. Miss Pinkster got to sit in the car. Thanks Christie for coming in and sharing some interesting things about your job. We found out sometimes the police get called out to a house because people think there is a fight but it is just the koalas making noise!
Thank you Jessica J’s Mum for visiting us at school. It was really interesting and I liked it when we used the sirens.
To A1 Class, I like the sirens and the lights on the Police car. I like the Police car too. From Skye
Galen told me all about the visit and that it was really good. He liked the police car.
