We had a Junior Primary Assembly today. We thought it would be fun to show some of our learning using the CAFE strategies. One of the strategies we have been looking at is ‘flip the sound’. This song helped us to remember what sounds the vowels make and therefore how we could use them in our reading.
It was a fun way to learn them!

Thank you for your comment Mrs. Ruckes. We did make the little vowel people. We stuck them to a popstick and then attached them to a peg. We used a ruler to peg our vowels. It made it easy when we had to take a letter off to sing. We are much better at flipping vowel sounds now!
