One of our Craigburn Primary School Family’s (Townsend/Phillipps Family) run a Charity called Lion Hearts Learning, created because their daughter Codee-Jo was diagnosed with leukaemia at 2yrs and there was no social and educational learning opportunities for 0 to 5 year olds in South Australia, so they created a playgroup/preschool for children affected by cancer as well as children with low immunity due to health challenges.
Codee-Jo is now a cancer survivor which is absolutely incredible, and the charity continues to grow, now offering more services to more people in need.
Codee-Jo’s Nanna (Maralyn Phillipps) also commits a whole lot to Lion Hearts Learning and is founder of their Respite Accommodation Service.
Maralyn has made it to the 3 finalists for Westfield Local Heros for the ongoing work she has done for Lion Hearts Learning and for her to win would just be incredible- she absolutely deserves it!
It would also mean Lion Hearts Learning would receive $20 000.
To support Maralyn and Lion Hearts Learning, a true local charity, it would be amazing if you could vote for her, and it only takes 30 seconds.🦁❤️
VOTING CLOSES AT THE END OF THIS WEEK 😊😊
