Thank you for your outstanding support of our Scholastic Book Club for 2024.
The final Issue 8 closes this Friday 29th November Book Club Catalogue Issue 8.
I have been in contact with Scholastic and they advised orders should arrive before the end of the school term, so if you are looking for books, diaries, trinkets or kits to keep your children entertained over the school holidays or fantastic gifts, the Scholastic catalogue is packed with a multitude of choices at great prices.
Remember you can nominate your order as a gift and it will be available for you to collect from the front office instead of sent to your child’s class. You can order online at : LOOP orders
Book Returns:
This is the final week of borrowing for the 2024 school year. We request that all books be returned to the library by Friday week 8, 6th December so that we can reconcile our collection.
You will receive a hard copy of your child’s existing borrowing record to assist return. Thank you for supporting your child to return any outstanding books.
Summer Reading Challenge:
Whilst we do not lend books over the summer holidays from the school library, we do encourage Summer reading and hope students access their local Onkaparinga or Mitcham libraries. Having a council library card allows you to download books from an online collection too!!
Encourage your child to participate in our Summer reading challenge. All students who complete and return the challenge by the end of week 2 term 1 2025 will be in the running to win a prize. Please record the book selections on the form and return to the library. A hard copy can be collected from our school library before the end of the term. Happy Reading!!
