On Friday of Week 5 seven Craigburn students participated in the Southern Heights Swimming Carnival at Marion Outdoor Pool. The students competed in a range of events including 50m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 50m butterfly, 50m breaststroke and 100 open freestyle.
Our students are to be congratulated for their determination, enthusiasm and their support for each other throughout the day. For some of our students, this was their first time competing in a swimming carnival.
A big thank you as well to the parents who supported the team throughout the morning.
A special mention to our top 3 place winners:
- James K: 1st in 10 year old freestyle, butterfly and breaststroke
- Harrison S: 3rd in 12 year old backstroke
- Riley E: 2nd in open boys 100m freestyle
Congratulations to all seven students once again! You should be very proud of your efforts and you represented Craigburn with pride.
