Sapsasa Athletics
Congratulations to the 45 students who represented Craigburn at the Southern Heights Sapsasa Athletics carnival at SA Athletics Stadium in Week 9 this term.
The students displayed great sportsmanship and support for each other, with older students taking on leadership roles and assisting our first time students at a Sapsasa event. Thank you to our volunteer parents Chris and Julie, along with our work experience SEDA students, Zander and Zoe and Frau Smith and Mrs Pettman for supporting the students on the day.
Some individual accomplishments to be celebrated:
Students in 100m and 200m finals after heats: Heidi C, Eli C, Stella S, James K, Charlee P, Hayden T and Lucas C

Sapsasa Swimming
Congratulations to James K selected to represent our Southern Heights Sapsasa District this Tuesday at the Sapsasa State Swimming Championships in 50m freestyle, butterfly, breastroke and the 4 x 50m freestyle relay.
Sapsasa Mountain Bike
We have 5 students who have nominated to participate in the Sapsasa Mountain Bike Teams event next term. We need one more rider to be able to enter 2 teams. If your child is in Year 5 or 6 and would like to enter please email Karen asap, as nominations must be submitted by 11th April.
Sapsasa Netball – Boys and Girls teams.
Year 5 and 6 students have trialled for our two Sapsasa netball teams. Teams will be announced this Thursday, with the two teams playing in a netball day carnival at Netball SA Stadium on Tuesday 7th May. Information will be provided to selected students on Thursday, with parents required to assist with coaching and supervision on at the carnival.
Sapsasa Cross Country
Cross country training continues Tuesday and Thursday mornings at 8am on the school oval. The Southern Heights Cross Country event is on Tuesday 14th May at Belair National Park. We will require parents to assist with supervision on this day and will be travelling by bus to and from Belair National Park. More information to follow shortly.
