Show Bag Creations

Last week the Royal Adelaide Show on so for our genius hour session we had the task of designing a show bag. Students were asked to draw a design and list the different things that would be inside the bag as well as the price they would sell it for. Some bags were $100 and some were free!! On Friday students first decorated their bag to make it stand out as if it was in the show bag pavilion. Then they created the things that were inside their bag using all sorts of things. Everyone was very creative! At the end of the session students shared back to the class their creations and explained what was in their bag. Here are the finished products:

Hi Miss Pinkster’s class – I love your showbags. When I was your age and went to the Royal Adelaide Show, showbags were called sample bags. Bags would contain small samples of different products and fun small toys and gadgets. Thanks for sharing. Regards, Mr Luke.
