Cardboard Challenge

On Friday 21st October we had a cardboard challenge in our genius hour time. Students were given the option of working with a partner or by themselves. The challenge was that cardboard was the main material to be used. Earlier in the week students drew a design and planned what they were to create. They were also given the option to use some new tools (makedo) that help join cardboard together without using glue or sticky tape. Some students used them really well! The makedo tool kit also comes with a plastic saw that cuts cardboard really well, which came in handy! Here are some photos of the finished cardboard creations:
