This term our class has started doing genius hour sessions on Fridays. Last term we completed a lot of technology challenges and improved our skills in cardboard construction and different joining techniques, worked on our cooperation skills, problem solving and being creative. This term students were asked to think of what they are passionate about. This helped them come up ideas to decide on the focus of their genius hour session. We have had 2 sessions so far. Students have demonstrated a keen interest in being creative and challenging themselves. After the creating session students are writing a reflection and thinking about what went well and why.
