We extend a warm invitation to all Craigburn families to join us for our upcoming Acquaintance Evening on Monday, February 12th, from 5:30 to 7:00 pm.

At Craigburn, we deeply value our sense of community and the strong connections between home and school. Acquaintance Evening serves as an opportunity for students, teachers, and families to nurture these vital connections at the beginning of the school year.

We encourage every student to actively engage in the evening, sharing their own ‘learning voice’ and offering insight into their learning environment for 2024. This is their chance to take the lead in acquainting you, their parents, with their learning spaces and to connect you, with their teachers.

As students prepare for and participate in the evening, our teachers will be guiding them to develop essential skills in communication, organisation, problem-solving, critical and creative thinking, and self-confidence.

Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to meet with our specialist teachers in Physical Education, Performing Arts, German, Science/Technology, and Environmental Learning Centre (school garden). These specialised areas enrich the educational experience at Craigburn, and we encourage you to engage with our educators to learn more about their programs.

Beyond the classroom, Acquaintance Evening offers a chance for families to mingle and build relationships within our community.

Please join us from 5:00 pm onwards for a sausage sizzle (including gluten-free/vegetarian options) and cool drinks, hosted by our leadership team and members of the Governing Council. Classrooms will be open for visits between 5:30 pm and 7:00 pm.
