Nominations for 2024 Governing Council Sub-Committees

Craigburn Primary School’s sub-committees of the Governing Council are an important part of our community. Each committee is made up of parent volunteers and a leadership representative, who work collaboratively to develop recommendations, strategies and actions to positively contribute to the life and culture of the school.

You don’t need any experience to join a committee – simply a passion to get involved and an interest in contributing to a particular area.

Meetings are generally held twice a term out of school hours, with most meetings around 45-60 min in length.

To nominate for any of the Sub-Committees, please register your interest via this link.  Thank you to those who have already nominated and expressed their interest. Meeting details to come soon.

Recent Information You May Have Missed

Media Consent Form

Last week parents and carers should have received an updated Media Consent Form– Child/Student Permission to use image, video, voice, and/or creative work of students and children. Copies were provided in both digital (emailed) and paper forms (copy given to students to take home).

If you haven’t already done so, could you please complete and return the form to school as soon as possible so we can update our records.

Obtaining media consent also allows us to showcase images of our students engaged in learning and extra-curricular activities on our school website, news blog and Facebook Page. Additionally, consent allows teachers to post images, video and / or audio recordings of students and their work to parents and carers via Seesaw.

The updated form has been developed by the Department, for schools to obtain consent from parents / carers. On the form, there are 3 consent options – Full, Partial and Limited – please choose one only. If you are uncertain about which option to choose, then please feel free to contact us at school.
