This week is Harmony Week, which leads up to Harmony Day on Thursday 21st March. This year’s Harmony Day theme, ‘Everyone Belongs’, highlights the importance of creating a sense of belonging for everyone, regardless of their cultural or ethnic background.
Buddy classes have been working together to raise awareness and promote cultural understanding among our community, with special thanks to Mrs McKay and our SRC leaders for initiating activities. Look out for the transformation of the school’s front entrance window (near the gym entrance) this week.
A reminder that students are invited to either dress up in orange or come to school dressed in their family’s national attire / costume on Thursday 21st March at 10.20am. A whole school assembly will be held on the same day to celebrate the occasion. Families are welcome to attend.
Further details here.
***A reminder, Harmony Day donuts can be ordered – closing date / time – Monday 18/3 at 3.00pm

Student-Led Conferences
We are pleased to share that our student-led conferences are just around the corner. It’s an important time where your child will be taking the lead in showcasing their progress and achievements from over the first term.
During the conference, your child will have the opportunity to reflect on their journey so far and present their achievements to both you and their teacher/s. Under the guidance of their teachers, students will prepare to highlight what they’ve learned and share aspects of their learning they would like to improve.
***The conferences have now been scheduled for school weeks 10 and 11, beginning Tuesday 2nd April through to Wednesday 10th April.
***As in previous years, we’ll be using the School Interviews online booking system. Please stay tuned for more details early this week.
Early Morning Arrival
Students are allowed to start arriving at school from 8:30am, unless attending OSHC. Students who are on the school grounds before 8.30am will be directed to the front office as teachers are not on duty prior to this time. The school siren sounds at 8.50am indicating all students need to be in their classrooms ready to start the day.
