The Weekly Wrap – Term 2 Week 2 – 2024

Thank you for checking in with this week’s wrap and other recent posts.

Swimming Week Thanks

We would like to give a big shoutout to all the parents who volunteered their time to help out with the Reception to Year 2/3 swimming program last week – we truly appreciated it. The success of extra-curricular programs such as swimming week are not possible without parent volunteer support. Thank you for your support.

Plumbing Works – Front Entrance

Please be reminded that due to ongoing plumbing earthworks adjacent to the school gym/hall, access to the main entrance path will be restricted. For the safety of everyone, we ask that children and families access the school through the car park area, which will be temporarily closed off to vehicles from 8.30am to allow safe entry to the school. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding during this time.

Mother’s Day Special Morning – Friday 1oth May

Mother’s Day holds significance as an occasion for us to celebrate and express gratitude for the vital role played by mothers and other special individuals in our lives.

To all the incredible mothers, grandmothers, nannas, aunties, and cherished friends within the Craigburn school community, we hope you can join us for a special Mother’s Day morning on Friday 10th May. This event is our way of expressing thanks for all that you do and for being such an integral part of your child/ren’s school life.

Weather permitting, the event will take place on the lower court. Please refer to the latest post for further details.

We look forward to celebrating an early Mother’s Day with you and providing a wonderful start to your day.

Mother’s Day Gift Stall

A reminder that our annual Mothers’ Day Stall will be held at school on Thursday 9th May. Lots of great bargains for students to purchase a special ‘mother’s day’ gift will be available. Children can bring pocket money (maximum $10) and a small bag to carry their gifts. Further details here.

We would greatly appreciate parent volunteers to help with the Gift Stall on Thursday morning. If you can help out, even for just 30 minutes or so, please email Bron / Hayley at the front office on dl.1226.admin@schools.sa.edu.au Thank you.
