Track and Field (Athletics)

36 Craigburn students have been selected in our team to compete at SA Athletics Stadium on Thursday 28th March, in the Southern Heights District Track and Field Carnival. Selected students have received information and consent forms.

Cross Country

Trainings have started in preparation for the Southern Heights District Cross Country Carnival at Belair National Park on Tuesday 14th May. Trainings are on the school oval at 8am every Tuesday and Thursday morning.

Please note there will be no trainings during swimming week in Week 9.

Netball

Trials will be held during school hours in the coming weeks for Year 5 and 6 girls and boys netball.

A boys  team and a girls team will be selected  to compete in the Statewide Schools competition (Knockout) at a day carnival at Netball SA Stadium on Tuesday 7th May.

Mountain Bike

Students in Years 5 and 6 interested in participating in the Mountain Bike’s Team Championship on Friday 10th May at Sturt Gorge Recreation Park, can collect information from Mrs Pettman.

This is a team event of 3 – 4 riders per team and requires students to have transport and supervision by parents in order to participate.

Golf

Golf SA Stage 1 Qualifying event for Southern Heights District is Friday 23rd August at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club. Qualifying day includes a 90 minute skill development session followed by a 9 hole stroke comp on a modified course.

Interested students can receive information on how to nominate from Mrs Pettman.
