Wow! Great work in the garden guys. Thanks for making my view so AWESOME;}
Hello Year 2’s!
It looks like you had lots of fun planting in your garden. What kinds of things did you plant in your garden?
We are Grade 1’s in Canada and we also plant our garden each year http://sarahjane.edublogs.org/eagle-view-primary-garden/
This year we planted pumpkins, zucchini, cauliflower, potatoes and some flowers. They will grow over summer break and then we hope to harvest in the fall. We are hoping our cauliflower grows. It would be great to be in touch in the fall to see how your harvest was.
Take care,
Mrs Soltau-Heller
Aren’t school gardens great. Our elementary school is actually built around a garden. We plant native Texas plants to attract both birds and butterflies.
Do you see many butterflies around your plants? We also have bird houses for Purple Martins, an endangered bird that migrates through Texas.
