Last week our class was very lucky to receive a new enclosure for our stick insects. We have 3 insects left and Ben’s family kindly donated their old fish aquarium for the insects to live in. Martin, Ben’s Dad, added some mesh so the insects get plenty of fresh air and we can all easily see the insects,
A HUGE thank you to Ben’s family for the new home!
Here’s a couple of photos of the insects in their new home.
We hope the insects enjoy their new home!
That’s a swish new home. Thanks Ben’s parents. I am pretty sure if I was a stick insect I would be very happy living here.
They are so amazing to watch. I think its clever how they hide in the branches and you have to really look hard to find them.
Looks great !!
the stick insects new home is pretty big for something that small but I think its great!
Hey Jessie,
It’s great to see you on the blog – as Aiden’s mum said above – it’s a pretty swish house for insects!! I agree with you too – it’s a very big place for such little insects!!
See you in the morning –
