For the last 3 days our class has been on camp to Narnu Farm on Hindmarsh Island, South Australia. Our class went on camp with Mrs Perjmas’ Year 3 class. We’ve had an amazing time away , with lots of laughs, fun and learning. The camp is a wonderful place for 8 and 9 year old children to visit as the children can develop their independence and participate in lots of different activities. The activities were:
- horse riding
- feeding the animals
- Clydesdale hand ploughing
- orienteering
- following the farm history trail
- butter making
- learning about snakes
- helping in the chicken hatchery
- Vintage truck farm tour
- Blacksmith demonstrations
We have really been looking forward to camp and had so much fun the entire time we were away. Our days were very busy and we loved sleeping in the bunkhouse and cottage.
Here’s some photos from our camp:
