A huge thank you to all of our families who have commented on our blog! We’ve loved sharing and reading your comments – it certainly makes our work feel really valued.
This week we have some questions as a part of our challenge:

What was your favourite thing to do at school?
What did you like to learn about?
Did you have a favourite subject at school?
What are your best memories of school when you were a child?

We look forward to hearing your responses.

  1. Hi everyone, my favorite things to do at school when I was a lad in the olden days was to play a game called buzz for maths and to play cricket games for PE. I also liked to go on the commodore 64 – that was a computer but there was only one to share between two classes, so I had to wait:( I always enjoyed new challenges in Maths but didn’t like art- because I was rubbish! I love teaching it now though. My favorite subjects were maths, spelling and PE. My favorite school memory is of hitting a ball over the Blackwood Primary main building, it is a two story monster!

  13. I went to Craigburn when I was little. It was a brand new school, just built and there was no grass anywhere. In winter it got very muddy, so we wore our rubber boots to school! We left our boots at the classroom door and put our slippers on to go inside. There were only 60 students when I started. Now there are so many I can hardly count you all!!
